Screen Printing

Graphic mock up of 2 colour back print
Screen printing is the method of transfering your design to be printed onto an item of clothing or workwear of your choice. At A4 Apparel we are able to print up to 6 spot colours and if you wish to replicate a design with many more colours or photographic print we use a system called 4 colour process printing.
Artwork
The prefered format we would require you artwork would be as a vectorline graphic, either an Adobe Illustrator file as an AI, eps or pdf file or Coreldraw file with all fonts outlined. We do accept other formats such as jpegs or bitmaps but an artwork charge (see artwork charges) may apply depending on the complexity of the design.
We will then e-mail you a pdf file of a graphic mock up of what your clothing will look like to be signed off by yourselves.
Colour Seperations
Once the graphic mock up has been signed off we are able to produce the colour separations we require for the initial stage of printing.

Screens
Once the colour separations have been completed we are able to expose them onto screens (see screen set up charges) in readiness for screen printing your clothing. For every colour there is in your design an individual separation is required.
